I would like to commend an employee of Mister Sparky, an electrician
by the name of Joey that did work in my home on 6/22/09 and on 6/29/09.
The work included installation of outlets, surge protector, lights,
doorbell, and an upgrade (150 to 200).
When Joey discovered there was no neutral line from the power company,
he immediately called his office so Pepco would be notified. While
working in my home, several problems arose from pre-existing conditions.
Joey calmly addressed each issue and continued hard at work.
Joey was very polite and patiently answered all my questions. His
professionalism guarantees I will recommend your company!
Joey should be acknowledged and recognized for being a true asset
to the reputation of Mister Sparky!

Dear Mr. Manning,
We would like to take this opportunity to express our
appreciation to Mr. David Johnson and Mr. Benjamin Grimes for
the outstanding job they did at 20 Franklin Street, NE. We are
more than pleased with the work that was done.
As you know, Mr. Johnson has worked in our home on several
occasions and his work has always been professional and to our
expectations. While rewiring our basement, he pointed out
several hazards that needed to be corrected. Because of his
honesty and excellent workmanship, we chose Galaxy Electric to
complete the rewiring of our house.
The attitude and disposition of Mr. Johnson and Mr.Grimes made
it very easy to work with them. The way they worked with us,
pointing out things to us, making suggestions, and at times
asking for our input, was highly appreciated.

Eddie’s Professionalism/ Mr. Teet’s Vision:
I was not at all surprised to see language about family values
on the website for your company. A company that truly
represents family values will do what they claim and honor
commitments. Such a company would hire knowledgeable and
experienced staff to ensure that customers receive quality
service.
Galaxy is clearly such a company and Mr. Teets should be proud
of what he has built. We called Galaxy to work on a mysterious
electrical problem after a general contractor and two heating
and air conditioner technicians spent 4 hours at our home with
no success. Galaxy’s technician Eddie arrived at our home
within two hours of our telephone call and had the job
completed within 1 hour. The job was probably done in about 45
minutes. The other 15 minutes were spent with Eddie listening
to our horror story from the day before and accepting our
thanks.
Thanks Eddie! Thanks to the scheduler who called before and
after Eddie’s arrival to ensure that our expectations were
met. Thanks Mr. Teets for building a company that creates such
an obviously positive environment for your employees. I hope
that you’re training someone to fill your shoes when you
decide to move on to other things.

Dear Mr. Teets,
On Sunday, February 3, we incurred a major electrical
emergency in our home. I selected Galaxy Electric from the
Alexandria Yellow Pages because you advertised 24-hour
emergency service. I left a message on the voice mail and
received a call from David Johnson within 15 minutes. David
was at our home within the hour and had diagnosed our serious
problem and suggested a solution soon thereafter. On Monday
and Tuesday, February 4 and 5, Ron Rosales and Justin
Showalter worked at our home to replace the outside meter box,
electrical cables and inside breaker box. Additionally, they
checked every electrical outlet and assisted with identifying
damaged appliances.
We could not have been more pleased with the service we
received from Galaxy and specifically the excellent
workmanship and professionalism from all three electricians,
David Johnson, Ron Rosales and Justin Showalter. They were
prompt, polite and friendly. They were neat (even wearing
“booties” and using drop cloths to protect our carpet). While
this was a very expensive repair, I believe the price was fair
and we were not taken advantage of during an emergency/Sunday
situation.
I have already recommended Galaxy to several friends and thank
you again for your excellent service. It was a pleasure
working with David, Ron, and Justin.

We don’t ordinarily enjoy having work done in and around our
house. Yesterday, Eddie came to fix a lot of our electricity
and we enjoyed having him here. He was friendly, pleasant,
efficient, and very careful with our household belongings and
did several other things that we spoke to him about. It was
the end of his workday and I’m sure he was ready to call it a
day but he was more than willing to comply with anything we
asked him to do. He is a wonderful representative for your
company. Also we had to change our scheduled time for this job
and everyone we spoke to on the phone was very cooperative and
understanding. If we ever need to call someone to come to our
house to fix something, let it be electric so we can call you
and ask to have Eddie come and fix it.

We recently needed some electrical work in our 50-year-old
home. After some research, we selected Galaxy Electric
primarily because of its reasonable pricing policy. We found
so much more!
We were extremely fortunate to have Justin as the
representative of your company. Not only were we called when
he was on his way, he arrived during the time window that was
scheduled. He began the job by explaining how he would
approach our problem and gave us a clear cost upfront. He was
able to solve every issue, climbing onto the roof and into a
tight attic space. AND he constantly put on and took off his
“booties” so he wouldn’t track dirt in our house.
So, if we ever need any more electrical work, we’ll definitely
call Galaxy and ask for Justin. Please convey our thanks to
